Hi! I’m Lexy, the Maker Behind Wexford Candle Co.

For as long as I can remember, I dreamed of owning my own business—I just didn’t know what it would be. My dad always told me I was capable of greatness, but finding my passion wasn’t easy. I tried crocheting (too tricky), drawing (not my thing), and even thought about making a career out of singing. But nothing truly clicked.

That all changed in fall 2016 when I stumbled across the art of candle making. I headed to Michael’s, picked up a DIY kit, and made my very first paraffin candles. Watching the wax harden, seeing what I had created—it was magic. After a little research, I switched to soy wax for its cleaner, eco-friendly burn, and from there, my love for candle making only grew.

What started as a hobby has turned into Wexford Candle Co.—a small business fueled by creativity, passion, and the joy of bringing warmth into people’s homes. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing my candles in your spaces, filling them with cozy, familiar scents.
