Hi! I'm Lexy and I am the owner of Wexford Candle Co.For as long as I can remember I have dreamed of owning my own business but could never find something that I was passionate about. My dad had been telling me since I was 14 that I was capable of greatness but I never really thought too much about it. I had tried multiple crafts and failed. Crocheting was too difficult and I wasn't much of a drawer. I've been singing since before I could talk but it never seemed realistic for me to make money at it.
I read about the art of candle making in the fall of 2015 and decided to go to Michael's to see what I could find on it. I made two paraffin candles and instantly fell in love with it. It was amazing to watch the wax harden and see what I had just created, then after a lot of research started to use soy wax due to the health benefits. Since then, I have just been riding the wave that a small business has to offer. I love meeting new people and I am so flattered when I see my products in someone's home. It all seems like a surreal experience and the journey is just beginning!
